Partnerships on this site are centred on commissioned and collaborative writing, rather than traditional consulting engagements.
I work with organisations and individuals who want to explore ideas publicly — particularly where tech, AI, and society intersect, through thoughtful, independent analysis. Partnered work is editorial in nature and reflects my own perspective, judgment, and critical approach.
Where relevant, partner services or offerings may be referenced to provide context or clarity. This doesn’t alter the independent nature of the analysis or imply unqualified endorsement.
Tech doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It shapes systems, behaviours, incentives, and outcomes; often in ways that are subtle, cumulative, and difficult to reverse.
AI, in particular, introduces a new class of influence. While many economic and policy interventions have historically focused on controlling supply, AI systems increasingly operate on the demand side: shaping what people see, choose, prioritise, and engage with.
This already happens at scale through recommendation systems, feeds, and targeted content; from streaming platforms to social media and advertising. As AI capabilities mature, these techniques are becoming accessible to non-technical organisations in ways that were previously not possible.
Because of this influence, I approach AI through a philosophical and ethical lens, not just a technical or commercial one.
That means asking:
Ethical AI, to me, is not about checklists or compliance alone. It requires moral grounding, context, and an honest examination of trade-offs. These questions are rarely abstract; they play out in everyday interactions and real-world consequences.
AI offers genuine opportunities: to reduce friction, expand access, surface insight, and enable new forms of value creation. Ignoring those opportunities would be as irresponsible as adopting them uncritically.
My aim is to hold both ideas at once:
Partnerships exist where there is space for that kind of exploration — where ideas can be examined thoughtfully, critically, and in public.
Partnered work may include:
All partnerships are disclosed clearly, and editorial independence is maintained throughout.
If this approach resonates and you’d like to explore working together, feel free to get in touch.
Partnerships on this site are structured around ongoing collaboration rather than one-off transactions. Tiers reflect the depth and continuity of the relationship, not company size, influence, or the nature of any individual piece of work.
Tier placement is discretionary and based on the decision to partner, the nature of the collaboration, and the extent of ongoing engagement over time.
Bronze partnerships typically involve one-off or occasional commissioned work.
This may include:
Bronze partnerships are well suited to organisations looking to explore an idea publicly without committing to an ongoing relationship.
Silver partnerships reflect repeat collaboration and a shared interest in ongoing exploration.
This may include:
Silver partnerships indicate an ongoing dialogue rather than isolated contributions.
Platinum partnerships represent longer-term, intentional collaboration.
This may include:
Platinum partnerships signal a commitment to continued exploration and public thinking, not endorsement or alignment on conclusions.
The tier structure exists to make relationships transparent and to set expectations around visibility and collaboration.
